Four Experienced Partners: Guiding the firm are four partners. Scott Carpenter and James Hazlewood have been practicing together since 1998. Both are members of the national Community Associations Institute’s College of Community Association Lawyers. Scott is also on its Board of Governors. Scott leads the industry in many ways: education, legislative action, authoring Community Association Law in Arizona, speaking, serving on the Community Associations Institute national faculty - all in addition to practicing law. James also devotes time to education of clients and managers, helping the firm grow, practicing law and assuring quality work product. Javier Delgado and Roger Wood were named partners in 2007. They have been with the firm a number of years, Javier leading the collection team, and Roger leading the litigation/enforcement and insurance defense team. Statewide Coverage: The firm represents thousands of associations in virtually every County in Arizona. Although we are located in Tempe, we are easily able to provide services statewide. The issues are similar for all associations, whether complex litigation matters are involved, simple votes, Fair Housing issues, or architectural issues.
